Learn to Ride

Start your child’s cycling journey right here at Hadleigh Park, supported by our professional coaches where they can learn to ride in safe and structured sessions.

Take this opportunity to catch-up with your friends and explore all that Hadleigh Park has to offer; including our Playarea, family trail, sensory rooms and Café.

Balance Bike Sessions

Balanceability Level 1
Level 1 is aimed at children aged 2½ to 4 years old. It focuses on movement patterns, gross motor skills and dynamic balance using a balance bike. Children learn how to pick up, manoeuvre, mount and dismount their bikes and then learn the skills to ride a balance bike safely.

The aim of Level 1 is to create the confidence to glide a Balance Bike with their feet off the floor.

Learn to Ride for Children

These sessions are for children who are nearly ready for a pedal bike or just need some extra help to get them going. With a 1-to-1 session your child can get support from our trained instructors to help them gain confidence in riding a bike and start their cycling journey.

Our new surfaced Family trail means there is a 1km loop of flat trail for them to practice on along with our skills area for when they are ready to progress.

Little Wheeler’s are running a Free Trial session ahead of the start of their programme of sessions, see here for more details: http://bit.ly/2oIAEZ0

Learn to Ride for Adults

These sessions are for adults who are both looking to learn to ride or would just like a few tips to help get them back on their bike.

Further information and how to arrange a session will follow shortly.

Looking for your child’s first bike or something to get you back riding then check-out BikeArt the onsite bikeshop.
