Cycling Activities for Summer 2018

Here are our Cycling Activities for Summer 2018:

Lose the stabilisers Children will have fun learning to ride a bike.  Firstly they balance without pedals and when ready our coaches will put back one pedal, then two, and before you know it your child is riding. For children who want to learn to ride. ·         Bike

·         Suitable clothes

Family Ride to Castle A ride along the family trail for 1 mile and stop at the castle for kite flying or a game.  The ride is mostly on a gentle track but is a small road section where the riders may push their bikes. For families with young children who can ride without stabilisers along flat ground and slight hills. ·         Bike

·         Helmet

·         Suitable clothes

·         Back pack for adults

·         Drink and food

Ride Ready MTB training Training for riders who want to ensure they learn the correct skills to ride safely and get maximum enjoyment from Hadleigh Park.  The ride will be on the green trails and some blue sections.  Participants receive a Ride Ready Certificate that highlights strengths and areas for development. Suitable for riders 10+ who can go up and down some of the steep hills. ·         Bike

·         Drink and food

Before the ride the instructor will check the bike and fix minor faults

  • Bikes for all ages can be hired for any of the above activities
  • Parents must accompany riders below age of 12
  • Rides start from courtyard by the Hub (outside the office)
